 Mest eyledi te'sîr idermiş nigeh-i mest

 2 Pür cürm ise de ta`nı ko ey zâhid-i hod-bîn

 Bî-`ayb u riyâdur hele cürm ü güneh-i mest

 3 Bilmez yolunı hânkâhun rind-i mey-âşâm

 Sapmaz der-i mey-hâneden elbette reh-i mest

 4 Arâm idemez gûşe-i gülzâra da varsa

 Mey-hânede bir hum dibidür tekyegeh-i mest

 5 Yahyâ ne aceb nâz şarâbına düşünmüş

 Ol gamze-i mahmûr o çeşm-i siyeh-i mest
